At the North Shore Animal League the cages are full, and a snowstorm may keep potential adopters away. Crowded cages also put extra pressure on the staff, who need to work extra hours to care for all the animals.
The monsoon finally breaks, signaling the end of the drought and the beginning of a season of plenty, leading to celebrations from monkeys and people alike!
