The Vandals are carrying out a nasty plan: they have enlisted a terrible horde of stinging jellyfish to sow terror in the Bay. But the mermaids aren't able to respond: Rikki grounded, wrongly accused of calling in a fire alarm at school, and Cleo has to help care for swimmers stung by the jellies.

Meanwhile, underwater, Bernie, cannot bear all the noise and disruption his neighbors are making, and decides to leave his cave and go and stay elsewhere for a bit of a rest.
