
Natalio Pagés
Natalio Pagés was born in Villa Ballester. A film director trained at ENERC, he is also a sociologist, musician and university professor, and is currently completing his PhD. His work includes the feature film Lost Time (Mar del Plata International Film Festival, 2020) and the short films The Pact (Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre, 2015), A Shadow in the Glow of Nacre (Sitges IFF, 2019) and The Girl at the Frontier (BAFICI, 2026). He has also worked as an editor on the documentary short Gardeliana and the feature A Night at Paladium. Alongside his filmmaking, he edited the book Giallo. Crime, Sexuality and Style in Italian Genre Cinema (Rutemberg) and has published widely on social theory, semiology, cinema and memory, as well as film criticism in magazines such as Détour, Hacerse la Crítica, Calanda and Jacobin. He is part of Colectivo Rutemberg, where he works as a director, screenwriter, editor and creative producer.
