Nicolas Rabaeus

Nicolas Rabaeus

Born in 1984 in Geneva, Switzerland. He studied jazz music at IMEP in Paris and classical music at the HEM Haute École de musique in Geneva. He's been working as a composer for more than fifteen years, specializing in music for the moving image. He has collaborated with many European and Swiss filmmakers, for more than fifty projects, ranging from short movies to feature films, animation to documentaries, and three full series. He's recently been appointed to teach "Music in Cinema" at the HEM. His work has won awards at numerous festivals, including the Quartz for Best Music in 2023 for Carmen Jaquier's FOUDRE (Thunder).
