Michael Edward Reagan was an American author and motivational speaker. He was the adopted son of former American president Ronald Reagan and his first wife, Academy Award winning actress Jane Wyman. In 1987, he acted in soap opera Falcon Crest, which starred his mother. He authored many books, including On the Outside Looking In (1988), The Common Sense of An Uncommon Man: The Wit, Wisdom and Eternal Optimism of Ronald Reagan (1998), Twice Adopted (2004), and The New Reagan Revolution: How Ronald Reagan's Principles Can Restore America's Greatness (2011). For over 26 years, he hosted a live political radio show The Michael Reagan Show, which was presented by Premiere Radio Networks. Reagan was a speaker on issues related to conservative politics, adoption, and the life lessons he learned from his parents. He was also the founder and chairman of The Reagan Group, LLC. Michael Reagan died on January 4, 2026 in Los Angeles, California from cancer.
