Juliana Almeida

Actress, arts educator, playwright, and performer, born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. A graduate of the theater course at Palácio das Artes (CEFART), she had her first professional experience on stage as a child. She is part of the main cast of the short films “Eterna Possessão” (dir. Manoel Rocha) and “Cada Caso é um caso,” the latter chosen as the best Brazilian short film by the Gralha Internacional Monthly Film Awards. She stars in the short film “Menu” (dir. Hectory Gottschalg) and the series “Nosso Doce Aroma” (dir. Gustavo Kontch). She holds a degree in Political Science from UFMG, where she deepened her studies in the relationship between art, politics, and citizenship. She is fluent in Spanish.
