Ansiba Hassan is an Indian actress, director, television anchor, and dancer who primarily works in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. Born and raised in Kozhikode, Kerala, her passion for cinema was heavily influenced and encouraged by her mother. She completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Visual Communication before pursuing cinema full-time.Ansiba made her screen debut as a child artist in the 2008 film Innathe Chintha Vishayam and later appeared in early Tamil projects like Paranjothi (2013) under the screen name Geethika. She catapulted to widespread national and international recognition in late 2013 with her breakthrough role as Anju George, the elder daughter of Mohanlal's character, in Jeethu Joseph’s monumental blockbuster thriller Drishyam. She successfully reprised this definitive role in the critically acclaimed sequel Drishyam 2 (2021) and the highly anticipated Drishyam 3 (2026).Beyond her central roles in the Drishyam franchise, Ansiba has showcased her versatile talent across several notable films including She Taxi (2015), Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2016), CBI 5: The Brain (2022), and Kurukkan (2023). She has also diversified her industry footprint by directing the short film A Live Story, hosting television programs, and competing in reality television as a prominent housemate on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 (2024). In addition to her creative pursuits, Ansiba has been a highly influential public figure within the Malayalam industry, notably serving as the Joint Secretary for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).
