Raghda Khairy

Raghda Khairy is an Egyptian cinematographer and visual artist based in Cairo. Born in Alexandria in 1995, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2019 and is currently studying cinematography at the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo. Her work moves between still and moving images, with a strong focus on intimate spaces, emotional tension, and personal narratives. She began with photography before transitioning into motion picture, including a 16mm experimental self-portrait that marked a shift in her visual language. Raghda has worked across film and advertising in Egypt and served as cinematographer on the short film Private. Her practice is shaped by a restrained aesthetic and a quiet intensity that explores connection, femininity, and interior worlds.
