Lauren Upchurch

Lauren Upchurch is a young filmmaker based in Lincoln, UK as well as a Film Production student at the University of Lincoln and is set to graduate in 2026. Lauren has worked on many student projects, with her most recent being ‘Keep the Faith’ as part of her graduation project. She has worked in both scripted and unscripted shorts, with a preference with the latter. She has worked primarily as a documentary director and producer throughout her time in her Film Production course. Lauren has also worked with the organisation Project: Fashion Fixed as a creative collaborator, taking sustainability and applying it within filmmaking. Her main career goal is to direct more documentaries, finding hidden stories within nature and people.
