
Mirza Ghalib
Mirza Asadullah Beg Khan (December 27, 1797 – February 15, 1869), commonly known as Mirza Ghalib, or simply by his pen name Ghalib, was an Indian poet and nobleman during the final years of the Mughal Empire. One of the most popular South Asian poets, his layered and intricate works in Urdu and Persian languages deal with themes of faith, philosophy, and the human condition.
