Ritesh Shetty
Ritesh Shetty is an experienced and versatile Indian filmmaker with over two decades of professional work across cinematography, direction, creative writing, motion design and music creation. He has contributed to advertising, corporate communication, documentaries, television and feature films, building a reputation for creative storytelling and multi-cultural content production. Shetty wrote, directed and shot the Hindi feature film Vyavastha, and has worked as Writer, Director, and Director of Photography on multiple web series including Atrangi Ishq, Enslave and Pyaar Yun Hi. His television work includes award-nominated cinematography for the Zee TV series Kashish (Indian Television Academy Awards, 2004). He has also directed and filmed a wide range of ad campaigns for brands such as Olivia, ICICI Bank, WhiteHat Jr., Lovable Sport and various government outreach projects across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. His nonfiction credits include creative roles for national events such as India Energy Week 2024 and Expo India 2024, along with direction of the Mumbai Police awareness film Do Not Drink & Drive. Shetty has also served as Creative Director for the Mii App and has contributed extensively to corporate, documentary and music video productions for prominent companies including Planman Motion Pictures, World Bank and multiple entertainment labels. Among his regional and independent works are projects such as the Kannada feature film (Production No. 3, 2024), the Telugu short film Chalanum, the horror short film Mirror, the documentary series “Lights Camera Action,” and numerous advertising and promotional films for PRIME Publicity Production, JIO TV (CIFA Awards 2017), and UB Enterprises (Green Cinema Awards 2021–2023). Shetty has also worked as Second Unit Director of Photography on several feature films, including Bhoot, Aasmaan Se Ucha, Bharat Bhagya Vidhata, Tirchi Topiwale, Laaddo and Gang. His extensive television experience spans popular series such as Sasural Genda Phool, Saath Rahega Always, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Left Right Left, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, Bidai, Maiyka, Gilli Gilli Gappa, Swarg, Parchaiyan, Naina, Nargis and many others. Recognized for his commitment to youth development and fitness, Shetty received acknowledgement from national leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for organizing the National Level Yoga Championships through YAMS in 2018 and 2024. Ritesh Shetty continues to collaborate on feature films, web series, documentaries and digital content creation, contributing his broad creative expertise to India’s entertainment industry.
