Jay-r Julio

Jay-r Julio is a film graduate at the University of the Philippines - Diliman. He is an independent producer, director, and an aspiring cinematographer. He is mainly interested in telling queer stories and stories that focus on family, migration, and memory. His latest film, '50lo Trip With Lolo Dan', with Denbert M. Tiamson, has been selected as a finalist for the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival Short Film Competition. Jay-r's new film, 'Pagpag', is set to premiere in July 2025.
