
Hugo Wast
Gustavo Adolfo Martínez Zuviría, better known as Hugo Wast (1883-1962), was a renowned Argentine writer and politician. He became highly popular during the first half of the 20th century, with multiple of his novels adapted to the big screen. However, during the second half of the century, he started to be questioned due to his anti-democratic and reactionary beliefs. Today, he is a controversial figure.
