Jordan Anstatt

Jordan Anstatt is an American film director and screenwriter. His short films have premiered at Academy Award-qualifying festivals, including Palm Springs International ShortFest. He holds an MFA in Film from Columbia University. Anstatt started his career making skate videos before making his first short film, the psychological drama Somna (2016), while studying film at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He went on to pursue an MFA in film at Columbia University, where he made several short films, including the crime drama Blue Bags Float in Saltwater (2019), the micro-short drama portrait Salut Maman (2020), the true-crime psychological thriller Max is Bleeding (2021), and Baby Skin (2024), a coming-of-age dramedy. In 2026, he completed the psychological horror short There Is No Camera, which is pending release. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
