Herberto Hélder

Important Portuguese poet, after studying at Coimbra university, he had many jobs going into exile from the Salazar regime into France and the Netherlands. His works have been often republished since 1966. He never gave interviews and refused honors including the prestigious Pessoa prize in 1994.
