Thomas Lieberman

Thomas Lieberman (born June 5, 1957) is an American producer, writer, musician, and creative director for film, television, radio, and stage. He is best known for the film Sweet Land (2005), co-founding the seminal jazz trio Rio Nido, and being a decade-long performer and writer for Garrison Keillor’s venerable public radio program, A Prairie Home Companion. He has contributed to productions that have received numerous awards of distinction, including the Peabody Award, a Gold Lion from the Cannes Advertising Film Festival, and the 2006 Film Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature. He is also the proud recipient of the 1966 Camp Teko Spirit Award.
