Andy Taylor

Andy Taylor is a visual effects producer at Wētā FX. He previously worked at London-based studio Double Negative from 2004 to 2017, progressing from coordination roles into senior producer positions. Taylor is originally from the United Kingdom, where he earned a Bachelor of Design and a Higher National Diploma in Media Production, providing a foundation for his long-standing career in film visual effects. Over the course of his career, Taylor has produced visual effects on a wide range of large-scale, effects-driven feature films. His credits include Pride & Prejudice (2005), World Trade Center (2006), Stranger Than Fiction (2006), Stardust (2007), Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Iron Man 2 (2010), Kick-Ass (2010), John Carter (2012), Captain Phillips (2013), Godzilla (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and Star Trek Beyond (2016). After joining Wētā FX, he served as a visual effects producer on Mortal Engines (2016), Jungle Cruise (2021), The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022), Fountain of Youth (2025), Better Man (2025), and Avengers: Doomsday (2026).
