Vira Yakovenko

Vira Yakovenko is a Ukrainian film director and screenwriter. She was born into a family of Ukrainian actors: her father was actor Vadym Yakovenko, and her mother was Halyna Davydova. She graduated from the Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv Theatre Institute (course taught by Mykhailo Illienko and V. Syvak). She shoots films in Ukraine and Germany.
