Abhilash Nanda

Abhilash Nanda is a Los Angeles based Cinematographer and VFX Artist with over a decade of experience crafting visual narratives for global cinema. Most notably, he contributed to the visual effects of the feature film Jal, which earned the prestigious National Film Award for Best Special Effects from the President of India, one of the highest honors in Indian cinema. His extensive portfolio includes work on international titles such as In Time, The Host, and Gulliver’s Travels, as well as a string of Bollywood blockbusters, including Vishwaroopam, Tamasha, Lootera, and RaOne. An expert at bridging the gap between technical post-production and on-set artistry, Abhilash has transitioned into cinematography, most recently serving as the Director of Photography for the comedy series So Basically and romance drama series Where the Sun Sets.
