A Great Day

Evie Day is a trained actor and voice artist with a background in classical theatre and screen performance. She earned her acting training through Florida State University’s Theatre Arts program, including study in FSU’s prestigious London Training Program. Her passion for performance began early, with drama classes and Black History Month skits in middle school, and continued through her involvement with Rising Stars Theater in Titusville, Florida, high school productions, and main stage performances at the Titusville Playhouse. After graduating from FSU, Evie stepped away from the industry to raise and educate her two children. In 2016, she returned to the stage with a commanding performance as Lady Macbeth in a local production of Macbeth. Since then, she has remained active in the North Florida theatre community, collaborating with local producers including Lumen Entertainment and Jason Woods Productions. Evie’s voiceover career began through nonprofit projects in the Jacksonville, Florida market, as well as radio drama work with Saints Alive, including St. Charles Borromeo and St. Josephine Bakhita. She is also a recurring performer with Jason Woods Productions at the annual Dickens on Centre Festival in Amelia Island, Florida. Her passion for narration and storytelling deepened in 2020 when she began performing live narration on Facebook through Storytime with Jason Woods, solidifying her focus on voiceover work. Once known for insisting that stage actors should never need microphones, Evie now embraces the mic fully-bringing warmth, personality, and a love of storytelling to every performance.
