Pat W. Dougherty

Pat W. Dougherty is a Director, Producer, First Assistant Director, Actor, Writer and Editor. His filmmaking and storytelling experience goes as far back as the early 2000s when he made his first short, the award winning, 'Elkton's Undead'. Since that point he has also Directed, Written, Edited and Produced many other award nominated and winning short narrative films, such as 'They'll Never Get Me' (2009), 'The Belittled' (2010), 'Somebodies' (2010), 'Street View' (2011) and 'Drop Point Compromised' (2013). Pat is the former co-founder and operator of CineMavericks Media, which was a production company that specialized in Wedding storytelling, music videos and narrative short films. Pat also spent the 2019 season as a Saber Logger and Game Runner at 'NFL Films' and went on to co-host and produce the cult movie-based podcast "The MacGuffin Guild". In 2024, Pat leaned heavily into the role of First Assistant Director (1st AD) on various projects. Having worked as an AD and Executive Producer on the feature 'The Barn Part III' (2026) by Justin M. Seaman, in addition to playing 'Hallowed Jack' and 'Nosferatu' he was also 1st AD on the music video for the track 'Through Hell' (2025) by American Rock band 'Any Given Sin'. Pat is also the 1st AD and Producer on the upcoming Mike Lombardo feature length film 'Dead Format', which is tentatively scheduled for a 2026 release. Pat also edited the music video for "Fear the Boogie" by horror legend Courtney Gains.
