Shin Okajima

Shin Okajima (岡島 真, Okajima Shin, born on September 16, 2005) is a Japanese-Filipino filmmaker and writer currently pursuing a degree in Broadcast Media and Multimedia Arts at Mapúa University. He began his career as a music scorer for Vision Media Production, contributing to films such as Timeout (2023), In Case You Miss It (2024), and Let’s Go Somewhere Else (2025), which have garnered both local and international recognition. Under his own banner, Enchanted Karinderiya Production, Shin has been directing and writing films, with his first debut short film Kamusta, Horseman (2025) being an official finalist in Sinepiyu 17 FEU Film Festival, while I PILYO, U FEEL ME? (2025) was selected as an official entry for the Rotary Film Festival 2025. Most recently, Shin was selected for the first-ever GMA Public Affairs Drama Concept Workshop, making him the youngest participant in the program. His films explore the gray areas and unspoken struggles in human life and shine light onto them through comedic, experimental or romantic styles.
