
Néstor Orozco
He graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Arts from the University of Guadalajara in 2021. He has expanded his training through various workshops and courses, most notably the AMC workshop “How to Make a Film from Beginning to End from the Director’s Perspective”, taught by figures such as Carlos Bolado, Michel Franco, and Guillermo Arriaga. He was the director and screenwriter of the short film “Las Despedidas” (2021), which received an Honorable Mention at the Independent Shorts Awards. It was also selected for the Monterrey International Film Festival and Shorts México. He is currently in the post production stage of his documentary “Pajarito” (2022) and distributing the short film “Tú y Yo” (2026), written and directed by him, featuring Germán Bracco, Mateo Valles, Daniel Giménez Cacho, and Gisselle Kuri.
