Marina Mustica

Marina Mustica

Marina Mustica Picazo is a Valencia-based audiovisual creator and storyteller whose work explores themes of desire, childhood, trauma, and intimacy through different artistic disciplines, with a particular affinity for analog formats and fragmented narratives. Alongside directing intimate and poetic audiovisual works, her practice moves between writing, photography, and music. In 2024 she published the poetic prose photobook "Los hijos del Etna", and has worked as a still photographer on various audiovisual projects. "Echo and the Narcissi" (2026) marks her directorial debut and first short film. She studied Photography and Video at LABA Valencia, developing a visual language that moves between the photographic and the cinematic, blending naturalistic textures with dreamlike atmospheres inspired by magical realism and contemporary arthouse cinema.
