看起來有些格格不入的山姆 來到前女友組織的喧囂派對之中。整個晚上人們縱情狂歡，高歌勁舞，山姆焦灼地穿梭而過，渴望早些取到想要的東西快些離去。許是神經過於緊繃，疲憊的山姆癱坐在沙發中沉沉睡去，全然沒有聽到門外傳來的撞擊聲和尖叫聲。次日一早，山姆醒來，正準備帶著個人物品離開，結果卻發現房間牆壁、地板滿是血跡，此前活生生的人全部變成了嗜血如命、喪失人性的殭屍。街道上殭屍狂奔，搜尋獵物。無助的山姆被迫困在公寓裡，他試圖逃生，然而整個城市似乎已經被絕望和死亡所主宰……
