肉食品工Jack Burton，飲食店年輕老闆王池，旅遊車司機Egg Shen組成了一個追逐幽靈的小組，因王池的未婚妻在機場被拐騙，他們開始了在惡魔世界的大冒險，漂亮的女律師Gracie Law也參與進來，一同來到中國城與對手展開了激烈的鬥爭。此時，能呼風喚雨、發動雷鳴電閃使用妖術的「暴風雨三人組」頭戴斗笠從天而降，前來助戰，Jack等人頓感力量倍增。在魔窟裡，妖怪的首領Lo Pan大施妖術，經過一番激烈較量，Gracie Law被抓走。最終，爭議戰勝邪魔，兩位姑娘回到心上人身邊。
