历史
耶路撒冷在希伯來的意思是“和平之城”，但這塊聖地卻延伸出三個全然不同的宗教-猶太教、伊斯蘭教和基督教，長久以來總是充滿不幸與鬥爭。 流浪多年的猶太人，在聯合國的表決下，於1948年在巴勒斯坦建國，但是週遭的阿拉伯聯盟國家不接受，於是在以色列建國的隔日就發起對猶太人的戰爭，本片經由兩個種族相異的年輕人，來省思戰爭與仇恨。 這兩個種族相異的年輕人於戰爭開打的第一天，在戰場上認識互有好感，但一切要怎麼繼續下去，兩個民族積存已久的仇恨要怎麼化解？
