剧情
由山繆傑克遜（Samuel L. Jackson）與《斷頭谷》怪怪美女克莉絲汀娜蕾茜（Christina Ricci）主演，流行偶像歌手賈斯汀（Justin Timberlake）也軋上一角。拉撒魯因妻子背叛導致家庭破滅，他失魂般度日，直到遇到蕾為止。遭痛毆而不省人事的蕾幾乎全裸，被惡意棄置在路邊等死，拉撒魯發現後，把這名年輕白人女子帶回家醫治，當蕾逐漸復原，拉撒魯發現這名女子的問題不只如此，她因年幼時遭受性侵害，又被母親遺棄而導致心理創傷。蕾在每個能找到的男人身上尋找感情依歸，逐漸轉變成以肉體換取所需的墮落生活…拉撒魯決定對蕾伸出援手，而在他們互動的過程中，拉撒魯也找回了愛的能力，還自己一個自由。
