蘿荷艾許是個不擇手段的蛇蠍美人，為了達到目的，她甚至會犧牲無辜女子的性命，來盜用她的身份。在法國蔚藍海岸的一場電影首映會上，蘿荷奉命勾引一名超級名模，偷走她價值非凡的鑽石首飾。 擁有致命吸引力的蘿荷，不費吹灰之力就讓她的獵物自投羅網。但是得手之後，她卻擺了合夥人哈辛一道，自己獨吞鑽飾。哈辛不甘被耍，揚言要報復，並置蘿荷於死地。 於是蘿荷藏身在一對夫婦家中，因為他們失蹤的女兒碰巧和蘿荷長的一模一樣。所以當女兒本尊在晚上回到家，飲彈自盡時，分身蘿荷並沒有出面阻止悲劇的發生。對她而言，這名女子的死亡，反而提供她一個名正言順的新身份，以及完美的避難所。 然而蘿荷並沒有逍遙太久，隨著安東尼班德拉斯的出現，她的新生活開始面臨考驗。這名英俊的記者，對她不欲人知的過去窮追不捨。從前的她，可能無法招架他的魅力而愛上他；然而現在的她，卻必須不惜任何代價以求自保。在命運的作弄下，蘿荷最後不得不做出抉擇—繼續過別人的生活，還是恢復原來的身份。
