剧情
原著圖文書中，以文字與圖畫的方式呈現兩個聽障兒童的故事。而在電影中，則改以黑白與彩色，突顯兩個時間序。[彩色的故事]，敘述在 1977 年的聽障男孩-班，在母親過世後，希望能找到素未謀面的父親，因此循著線索來到了紐約。遇上了街頭搶匪，將錢包偷走，於是只能躲在紐約大都會博物館中…[黑白的故事]，描述 1927 年生活在紐澤西的聽障女孩-蘿絲，為了見到心愛的女明星而逃家前往紐約。她偷偷潛入百老匯後台，只為一睹明星風采，不料卻被工作人員驅離，只能流盪街頭…兩個不同世代的故事，卻同時在紐約有了奇妙的交集…
