計程車司機查爾斯接到任務，要送一位90多歲的老太太瑪德琳去位於巴黎另一邊的療養院。導演克里斯汀·卡里翁曾以《聖誕快樂》入圍奧斯卡獎最佳外語片獎而為廣大影迷熟知。這部新片由法國知名喜劇演員丹尼·伯恩（《歡迎來北方》）和95歲高齡、優雅依舊的法國著名影視歌三棲明星麗娜·雷諾聯合出演，以計程車為引子，帶領觀眾穿梭於美麗的巴黎街頭，碰撞出兩個時代迥然不同的人生軌跡，體會惺惺相惜的艱辛和與之相伴的美好。
