《藍色小精靈》由比利時漫畫家佩悠(Peyo)於1958年所創作，八○年代起卡通動畫在全球播出，2011年登上大銀幕，由《比佛利拜金狗》雷賈高斯奈（Raja Gosnell）執導，以真人實景加動畫3D呈現，蘇菲亞維佳樂及尼爾派屈克哈里斯演出。 原本快樂地生活在魔法蘑菇村的藍色小精靈們，因被邪惡的巫師賈不妙追捕，而從魔法世界逃到了現實世界的紐約曼哈頓街頭。 這幾隻只有三顆蘋果高的小精靈們開始想盡辦法要回到家鄉，這期間他們必須要擺脫賈不妙和大笨貓的糾纏，還要趕在難得的「藍月」出現時，找到回家的神秘路徑…，他們是否能夠順利找到回家的路？而過程中與人類的互動又會摩擦出什麼有趣的事呢？
