一位陷入人生困境的服裝設計師蘇菲(卡琳瓦納斯 飾)，嘗試著利用網路上的交友網站和陌生人短暫交換住處來轉換心情。在換屋後的第一天，一切都是如此的美好，她開心地享受著即將到來的新生活。殊不知，這一切就在她醒來的第二天，完全變了調。先是被警察逮捕並接受謀殺調查，且所有證據都指向著她就是殺人兇手。 這時候，她發現，她和別人交換的不只有屋子，還有她的身分。別無選擇的她，決定靠自己調查並解開這謎團好還自己清白。然而一切就在謎底快要揭曉時，再度陷入了另一個絕境…
