剧情
皮耶是一位大約三十歲的前線戰鬥機駕駛員。他在參加中南半島戰爭期間，不小心炸死了一個小女孩子。為此精神陷入崩潰。戰後，他的生活好像一刻沒有安寧下來，長期在負罪，內疚，自責和失去記憶的痛苦中忍受折磨。每個星期天，他經常去修道院，在那裡，他碰到一個被父親遺棄的小姑娘。而他恍惚感覺這個小女孩子就是自己誤炸的那個。出於一種自我安慰和補償心理，也出於他的善意，他每週日都帶上小姑娘出去玩耍。小姑娘也得到了從所未有的關愛，兩個在一起相處得非常開心。但是在外人看來，他們卻對兩個人之間的那種奇怪的友誼抱著懷疑，猜忌的態度。終於有好事者並向警方報了案。結果，糊塗無能的警察也沒有進行調查和詢問，就貿然地殺死了皮耶。小姑娘傷心欲絕。當警察問起小姑娘的姓名，身份時，她說她如今已經沒有名字了。
