Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
故事背景來到世界上最大的博物館－史密森尼(位於華盛頓特區，成立於1846年)，全館超過1.36億藏品，種類繁多，館藏包括從遠古石器到中世紀藝術品到太空火箭等應有盡有。 故事的主人翁賴瑞（Ben Stiller 飾），經營手電筒事業大獲成功後，因忽然接到來自博物館的「老朋友」電話求救，再度下海！ 在新的一集電影中，自然歷史博物館為了提供民眾更多3D虛擬的互動陳列，決定將這批年代久遠的展示品，打包運送到世界最大的博物館 - 史密森尼博物館（Smithsonian）庫存起來。但賴瑞跟這群朋友才分開不到24小時，他就接到求救電話；在運送過程中，有人啟動了埃及法老王的”復活黃金碑”，讓史密森尼博物館的展覽品全數復活，更糟的是，這個全世界最大的博物館，擁有的展覽品多到難已想像，而有機會活蹦亂跳的傢伙們，特別是歷史暴君與恐怖統治者，更在博物館內招兵買馬，準備征服全世界！ 片中這次出現了許多著名的展覽品，都是歷史中極致的藝術精品，有美術品、自然遺跡、雕像、畫作、工具、攝影作品、動物標本、雕像等，都在深夜同時活了起來!在這些獲得新生命的獨特展示品中，有愛德華霍普「Nighthawks 夜鷹」、LIFE雜誌攝影記者在1945年拍攝的對日戰爭勝利紀念作-「The Kiss 親吻」、法國著名雕塑家羅丹的「The Thinker沉思者」、「維納斯」雕像、兩架骨董飛機，包括:萊特兄弟最知名的「小鷹號 The Kitty Hawk」、世界第一位飛越大西洋的女性愛蜜莉埃爾哈特的紅色飛機「Lockheed Vega」、阿波羅太空船、羅依李奇登斯坦的普普藝術、竇加的「芭蕾女伶」畫作，林肯紀念中心裡的巨型林肯雕像，還有，史密森尼博物館內最受千萬遊客所喜愛，長達26英呎的「大章魚」，等，而他們在電影主人翁賴瑞這次的冒險旅程中，發揮了最令人意想不到的神奇，賴瑞不但意外的進入了攝影作品裡並和相片人物產生有趣的互動，還與畫像裡的農夫交換用具，甚至還得到「大章魚」最熱情的濕吻。 Night at the Museum Battle of the Smithsonian/博物館奇妙夜2/翻生侏羅館2/博物館奇妙夜2：逃離史密森尼
