剧情
巴迪（比利·克里斯托 Billy Crystal 饰）是一位人气很高的喜剧演员，因为总是出现在星期六晚上的电视节目里，大家送给了他一个外号——星期六先生。实际上，巴迪刚刚出道的时候并非只身一人，还有一个名叫斯坦（大卫·佩默 David Paymer 饰）的搭档，只是，在首演临上台之前，斯坦怯懦了，最终，巴迪一个人的演出大获成功并且就此出道，而斯坦则成为了他的助理。 一晃眼多年过去，巴迪和伊莱恩（朱丽叶·沃纳 Julie Warner 饰）结了婚，两人孕育了爱情的结晶。随着年岁的增长，巴迪再也不像以前那样受欢迎了，工作也越来越难找，在一次重要的影片试镜失败之后，巴迪和斯坦之间产生了激烈的冲突。
