剧情
青年设计师鲍伯同时与两个情人厮混，一个是商业经理阿力克，另一个是犹太医生丹尼尔。他一直来往于两地之间，而两个异性情人也都知道鲍伯同时和她们交往，依旧默许这种情况继续下去。直到有一天，鲍伯的激进派朋友胡德森全家来此地开会，使两个情人之间出现了裂痕。鲍伯去看丹尼尔，让阿力克帮忙照看胡德森的五个孩子，阿力克开始发怒了。与此同时，丹尼尔要鲍伯实现带他去意大利度假的诺言：这使他感到非常为难，与男女情人的争吵，迫使他只好宣布去美国参加设计展览。两个情人只好怀着悲伤和期望留在各自的家里，等待着鲍伯的归来。
