剧情
康哈德（杰拉尔·德帕迪约Gérard Depardieu 饰）自幼就寄住在赛恩家的豪宅里，健康状况不佳的他，成年后继续与赛恩家同住，担任家族仓库管理员等闲职。但随着阿兹海默症的恶化，康哈德脱序的行为造成赛恩家族越来越多困扰，可是家族的大家长爱维拉老太太（弗兰西丝·法比安Françoise Fabian 饰）却力排众议，反对将康哈德送往疗养院，坚持把他留在豪宅中。刚嫁进豪门的年轻少奶奶西梦（亚历山德拉·玛丽亚·拉那Alexandra Maria Lara 饰）是家族中唯一愿意花时间陪伴康哈德的人，后来西梦发现爱维拉处心积虑把康哈德留在身边不是出自关心，而是为了不让他泄漏足以粉碎这家族的重大秘密 ······
