费德烈（贝尔纳·康潘 Bernard Campan 饰）带着妻子弗德莉奇（蕾雅·德吕盖 Lea Drucker 饰）和可爱的儿子住在法国德龙省电一个小镇，生活幸福美满。一个夏天的傍晚，他们邀请新邻居——设计师雨果（夏尔·贝尔林 Charles Berling 饰）来家里参加烤肉晚宴，席间，雨果非常大方地提到自己是个同性恋，毫不避讳别人的目光。雨果的坦诚博得费德烈的好感，他开始每天约雨果去晨跑，以男人的方式坦荡交往，但是费德烈心中未免时时荡起涟漪，似乎雨果的到来为他的生活打开另一扇门，让他看到了一个未知的自己……
