安德烈·查特林是巴黎市中心街边一家餐馆的老板。一天早上，一个叫凯瑟琳的女孩要求见他。她恰好是安德烈20多年前离开的分居妻子加布里埃尔的女儿。由于加布里埃尔刚刚去世，安德烈接受先照顾凯瑟琳，然后给她在他的餐厅工作，最后结婚。但这位天使脸的年轻女士很可能是一个伪装的魔鬼。
