喜剧
七十年代漫画动作喜剧，经已非常注重笑料密度和喜剧场面设计。老夫子一登场，便有大耍少林功夫的笑料，然后追女仔桥段，继而是打工仔与上司斗法，有悲有喜。编导通过老夫子一班朋友的卡通造型，将六十年代香港社会众生相浓缩在电影里。导演桂治洪精于动作处理，最后一场歹徒以奇谋妙计劫新娘花车，场面热闹，笑料丰富。
