施弗迪为其好友卡巴拉报仇，而杀死了对头华邦的弟弟，但旋即华邦展开大规模的反击。施弗迪被活捉，助手符南被抛入海中。然而华邦并没有处死他，而是将他灌醉后放入疯人院，后来又被抛入海中未死的符南救出。三年后他们挟雷霆万钧之势，一举将华邦歼灭。西弗雷迪决定为遭到杀害的朋友卡佩拉报仇。在跟凶手沃尔波纳的搏斗中，西弗雷迪损失惨重，因为沃尔波纳有德国人和美国人充当后台，实力雄厚，手段毒辣。西弗雷迪落到对方手里，险遭灭顶之灾。他在机智地逃脱之后，重振旗鼓，东山再起，最终处死了沃尔波纳，彻底捣垮了敌对集团。但是，当他重新找回自己的地盘时，马赛对他而言已经成为一个陌生的城市。他在那里再也无所作为，只好乘船前往美洲，踏上新的征途……
