原本只是單純的警方驅離法拍屋，卻因屋主兒子受託藏毒害怕警方入屋，變成始料未及的人質綁架案，越鬧越大，最後甚至升級為紅色警戒大事件。屋內父親、兒子、人質的三角關係開始微妙拉鋸；屋外談判專家、特種部隊與媒體亂象則掀起軒然大波。導演展現犀利的敘事與精彩的場面調度，透過崩裂的父子關係與僵化扭曲的資本社會觀察，逆向思考究竟何謂犯罪與公義。
