叙述一位十分害羞的17岁高中女孩塔拉，虽然总是不敢在公开场合对大家说话，但是却没人知道她其实也有狂野的一面。她在自己房间弄起了一个小型电台，就这样当起DJ，取名为“Radio Rebel”。她的广播渐渐受到欢迎，还出现固定的听众，但都不知道原来这位电台甜心就是身边这位不起眼的同学。直到后来，她开始在广播节目中为学校里不公平的事情伸张正义，而这也将要引起一番风波......
