Два несчастья - Альфред и Агата случайно повстречались в воде, когда каждый из них решил утопиться, но, наткнувшись на другого человека в воде, начали инстинктивно друг дружку спасать, в чём потом друг друга же и обвиняли. Обоих привела в воду несчастная любовь. После этого случая оба поневоле стали пересекаться и по жилищу, и месту работу: Агата - телеведущая, а Альфред за компанию со своим новым другом приходит на кастинг национального телешоу.
