1984년 6월 모나코 그랑프리. 가장 완벽한 드라이버로 손꼽히며 프로페서(The Professor)라는 별명으로 불렸던 알랭 프로스트를 포함해 모터 레이싱 역사상 가장 유명한 드라이버들이 트랙 위에 섰다. 그 중 13번째 자리에는 F1 경기에 여섯 번째로 출전하는 작은 체구의 젊은 드라이버가 타고 있었다. 그가 바로 눈부신 드라이브 솜씨로 F1 입성을 알린 아일톤 세나였다. 비록 그 경기에서 우승하진 못했지만, 그는 장애물들을 극복해 나가며 세 번의 월드 챔피언을 달성하고 슈퍼스타가 됐다. 트랙 안팎에서 수많은 업적과 뜨거운 의지, 확고한 신념을 보여 준 아일톤 세나의 신화가 시작된다.
