“좀비 동아리의 신입 회원, 내 남자친구야!” 컬리지 로맨스와 좀비 호러물의 환상적인 조합! 장학금을 놓치지 않는 모범생 크리시는 여학생 동아리 회장으로부터 최후통첩을 받는다. 남학생 동아리 회원과 데이트를 하지 못하면 기숙사에서 쫓겨나고 장학금도 뺏긴다는 것! 남자들에게 인기 없는 고지식한 성격의 크리스는 실험실에서 심난한 마음을 달래다 잠이 든다. 오밤중 몰래 나타나 크리시에게 담요를 덮어주는 남자, 하지만 그는 수십 년 전 실험을 하다 좀비가 되어버린 리고라는 프랑스 교환학생. 크리시와 친해진 리고는 남자친구 행세를 하며 대학생활을 하던 중 동아리 친구와 싸우다 목덜미를 물어버린다. 결국 좀비 바이러스가 급속도로 퍼져서 캠퍼스는 물어뜯고 뜯기는 좀비들과 시체로 가득 찬다. 크리시는 지도 교수인 에이본 박사의 도움을 받아 좀비 퇴치약 제조를 시도하는데...
