윌슨 부부는 경매장에서 동물이 그려진 그림 7점을 낙찰 받아 집 곳곳에 걸어 놓는다. 멘데일은 신부 생활을 하다 우연히 마주한 그림에 악한 기운이 있다는 것을 느끼고, 그림을 없애기 위해 이를 쫓는다. 윌슨 가족은 나태, 교만, 성욕, 탐욕, 식탐, 시기, 분노가 담긴 그림을 보다 현혹돼 자신을 잃고 만다. 킴은 남자 친구인 루이스윌슨의 가족을 만나기 위해 그들의 집에 왔다가 믿지 못할 상황을 목격한다. 과연 이 가족은 무사히 그림 속 죄악으로부터 벗어날 수 있을 것인가?
