아빠 없이 자란 수잔은 산타클로스 할아버지의 존재에 대해 의문을 갖고 있었으나 이런 생각은 엄마가 일하는 백화점에서 산타로 일하는 크리의 등장으로 완전히 바뀌게 된다. 수잔에게 산타의 존재를 믿게 하려는 크리의 노력으로 수잔은 물론이고 그 주변의 사람들도 마침내 사랑과 밑음, 그리고 가족의 소중함에 대해 새로이 눈을 뜨기 시작한다.
