3년전, 흡혈마왕과의 싸움에서 마왕을 영원히 암흑으로 던져넣었던 찰리는 비교적 평온한 대학생활을 즐긴다. 그러나 흡혈귀들은 보다 강력하고 다양해진 모습으로 지상에 나타나 사람들을 유혹하고 그들의 희생을 바탕으로 세력을 넓혀간다. 특히나 전위 예술가로 가장한 미모의 뱀파이어 레진은 찰리를 유혹하여 그들의 아지트로 데려간다. 전문 뱀파이어 킬러 피터와 찰리의 여자친구 알렉스는 찰리를 구하러 가지만 오히려 알렉스가 뱀파이어들에게 사로잡힌다. 찰리의 이성은 위험에 처한 알렉스를 구해야 한다고 외치지만 그 자신도 억제할 수 없는 악의 힘이 살아나 뱀파이어로 변하고 마는데...
